Neil Cave

Neil Cave is a commercial litigator specializing in technology-based disputes with an emphasis on intellectual property, antitrust, and fraud. He has represented a wide variety of clients including hardware and software companies, pharmaceutical manufacturers, insurers, real estate developers, an international courier, and a manufacturer of guitars. Neil has also helped clients proactively minimize risk by advising on regulatory interpretation and intellectual property issues.

Neil began his career in the New York office of Quinn Emanuel Urquhart & Sullivan, LLP. Over ten years with Quinn, he worked on some of the largest cases in the world including smartphone patent disputes and the Countrywide mortgage backed securities litigations. Having since worked in-house at a global marketing agency, Neil understands firsthand his clients’ need to advance litigation goals while controlling risk and keeping an eye on the bottom line. His experience at a securities regulator, where he prosecuted fraud and insider trading, has also given him a practical understanding of potential pitfalls faced by clients in highly regulated industries.
